Origin: Atemoya is native to the American Tropics. Atemoya is a mix of sugar apple and cherimoya. It is a rare member of the Anonna family. (Annona Cherimola × Squamosa)
Flavor Profile: The flesh is juicy yet firm like a cherimoya. The flavor is sweet like a sugar apple with notes of pineapple, coconut, and banana.
How to eat
Cherimoya ripens very quickly. We recommend storing these fruits at 70 degrees or above for optimal ripening. We recommend eating or refrigerating each one soon as it is soft. Do not refrigerate before it is ripe.
